Huawei’s e-brand Honor has announced a new mid-range smartphone, The Honor Note 8, at an event in China. It will be available in three storage variants – 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. This handset is now available for pre-orders and will be rolling out from 9th August onwards.
The Honor Note 8 integrates an extra-large 6.6 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by octa-core Kirin 955 processor (4 cores X 1.8 GHz and 4 cores X 2.5 GHz), coupled with 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 skin on top.
The Honor Note 8 is backed by a 4500mAh battery with fast charging support. This metal unibody smartphone comes with fingerprint scanner on its rear. It also comes with a hybrid dual SIM slot (nano SIM + nano SIM / microSD card) and 4G connectivity with VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
