Huawei’s online sub-brand Honor has partnered with Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), India’s apex industry body for fashion, as a part of the Honor League – an initiative where the brand will be seen collaborating with digital talent across travel, fashion, photography and technology sectors to encourage the youth in their brave endeavor.
As part of this partnership Honor and FDCI will jointy participate in Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2017. Both brands will also launch a social media contest ‘Hunt for the Face of Honor’ in association with Instagram where aspiring young models will showcase their personality and talent.
After the contest period Honor will be announce 26 winners who will be awarded Honor’s mystery ‘Swag Phone’. 6 lucky winners will also get a chance to participate in the ‘Honor Show’ at the Amazon Indian Fashion Week.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Sethi, President FDCI, said “Style has a universal language, but the key really lies in, who can translate it to create an impact. And this is just what we have attempted to do with the ‘Hunt for the face of Honor’ where you get a chance to be part of the biggest fashion event through social media, by sharing interesting perspectives on what style really means to each one of us. It is a challenging idea which will see sumptuous responses from tech-savvy millennials.”
