Huawei’s online brand Honor, is ready to launch its new smartphone, Honor 7X, in China. This is the successor of Honor 6X which was introduced last year in the month of October. The imminent arrival of Honor 7X on 11th of October, 2017 was confirmed by an official Weibo post.
The Honor 7X is expected to feature a full vision 18:9 aspect ratio display. These displays are more taller than they are wide and since most manufacturers choose to implement them with minimal bezels on all side, the offer quite an immersive experience.
The rumored display size on the Honor 7X is said to be 5.5-inches. And since this isn’t a conventional 16:9 display, the 5.5-inch display could be fitted in a very compact body thus providing for convenient one hand usage.
Its successor, the Honor 6X, was one of the first few Affordable dual camera smartphones, and the Honor 7X is likely to include a dual camera module too. In fact, some rumors point to a total of four cameras on the phone – two on the front and two on the rear.
The Honor 7X is expected to be powered by mid-range Kirin 670 mobile platform paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. On the software front, the handset is rumored to run Android Nougat based EMUI 5 software.
Since Honor 6X was a huge success in India, there are good chances that its successor will make it across to this side of the border sooner rather than later. The pricing is expected to be aggressive, but we will know for sure on October 11.
