Huawei has launched an array of wearable devices including Huawei Band 2, Band 2 Pro, and Huawei Fit fitness watch. The Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro will be available from Amazon.in in blue, red and black color options for Rs. 4,599 and Rs. 6999, respectively. The Huawei Fit Fitness watch, on the other hand, will be available in two sizes – Small and Large – with Black, Blue, and Orange color bands for a starting price of Rs. 9,999.
The Honor Band 2 and Honor Band 2 Pro both have a POLED display that can be used to view activity stats like step count, distance covered and calories burnt. They are waterproof up to 5ATM and can track swimming, running and breathing exercises.
They can also notify you of incoming calls, messages, emails, social Media and WhatsApp notifications. You can also use them to monitor sleep. Both Fitness bands include 3-axis Accelerometer and Infrared Wear Sensor. The Huawei Band 2 Pro additionally includes a Heart rate monitor and independent GPS tracker.
The Band 2 Pro and Band 2 each has a 100mAh battery and Huawei claims up to 21 days of usage time.
The Huawei fit smartwatch has a 1.04-inch, 208 x 208 pixel black and white always-on display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Fit can pair with Android 4.4 KitKat+ and iOS 8+ devices using Bluetooth 4.2LE.
Once connected, it can relay Incoming call notifications, Shows messages from apps, gently vibrate and wake you up when the alarm rings. The fitness watch can also track your daily activities and monitor sleep.
The list of sensors assisting watch functions include 6-axis (accelerometer + gyro) sensor, CAP-Sensor, Heart rate sensor (PPG) for continuous heart rate monitoring, and Ambient light sensor. The Huawei Fit is water and dust resistant certified (IP68), weighs around 35 grams and it’s 80mAh battery can last for up to 6 days (claims Huawei).
