HTC Desire Q goes official, available in Taiwan

Today HTC announced the Desire Q, a new entry level Android smartphone in Taiwan. It features a 4 inch touch screen display which has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The phone has features similar to the HTC Desire U.

Desire Q runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense UI on top and it is powered by a 1GHz processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with a 5 megapixel back camera along with LED flash and there is no front facing camera.

The phone comes with 4GB internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card. The phone is just 9.3mm thick and weighs around 114 grams.

HTC Desire Q would be available in Black, White and Red colors and it would cost around $231 in Taiwan. Currently we don’t have any information about the availability of the device in other markets around the world.
