HTC has announced its latest mid-range Desire series smartphone, Desire 830 in Taiwan, China. HTC Desire 830 will be available in two color options White with Orange and White with Blue starting from 6th of May, 2016 in Taiwan and will be priced at NT$ 9,990.
Desire 830 flaunts a 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). It packs a 13 MP shooter on its rear side with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, BSI sensor and 1080p video recording. It also bears an Ultra pixel camera at front with f/2.0 aperture and 26.8mm wide angle lens.
Desire 830 is equipped with Octa Core MediaTek MT6753T CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of flash storage which can be further expanded by up to 2TB using microSD card slot. It comes with 2800mAh battery with no words about talk time or standby time.
This handset runs on HTC sense 7 UI which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It also has two stereo speakers at front with Boom sound and Dolby audio. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G /HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro USB 2.0 port and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 7.79mm thick and weighs 156 grams.

HTC Desire 830 will be available from 6th May onwards in Chinese market, but the company hasn’t revealed any detail about global roll out of this handset.
