HTC today unloaded a bunch of desire series handsets which include two upper mid-range models – Desire 825 and Desire 830. HTC Desire 825 will be available through online and offline retailers starting from June 2016 onwards and has been priced at 18,990 INR. While, Desire 830 will also be available in June but price of the phone is yet to be revealed.
Desire 825 is fitted with a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor assisted by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be extended by up to additional 2TB using the microSD card slot.
Desire 825 bears a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing shooter with f/2.8 aperture. It houses a 2700mAh battery with no words on talk time or standby time.
Desire 830 has a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass layer on top. It is equipped with Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 processor, also employs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage with expansion slot for microSD card which supports up to 2TB.
Desire 830 has a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OIS and full HD video recording.It also has a 4 MP (ultrapixel) front shooter at front with f/2.0 aperture and is clubbed with 2800mAh battery.
Both these smartphones come with HTC BoomSound speakers at front with Dolby Audio certification and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense UI on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Micro USB 2.0 port, dual SIM technology and 3.5mm audio jack.
