HTC Butterfly launched in India for Rs 46,000

HTC has finally launched their flagship Android smartphone Butterfly in India. It is one of the most awaited smartphone of the year. Initially it was announced as J Butterfly in Japan and then launched in US as the Droid DNA.


HTC Butterfly comes with a 5 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super LCD 3 display. The display has a 440ppi pixel density and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It is powered by a 1.5Ghz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB RAM.

The phone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with HTC Sense UI. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 32GB storage.

HTC Butterfly comes with a 8 megapixel camera at the back and a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera. Talking about the connectivity features, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi,Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. It comes with a 2020 mAh battery.

The HTC Butterfly has a MRP of Rs. 49,990 but it would be available in India at a Best buy price of Rs. 45,990.
