HP unleashes ‘Office Of The Future’ Elitebook Portfolio in India

At an event in Delhi, HP(Hewlett Packard)  introduced a new range of notebooks and tablets with the name of Elite- HP EliteBook Folio, Elite x2 1012, EliteBook Folio 1040 G3 and EliteBook 840. These devices have been launched with a tag line “Office of the Future” and company touts that these products are thin and lightweight to facilitate comfortable usage.

“Not only do millennials want their device stylish and stunning, they also want to be sure it is secure enough for work and lets them collaborate effortlessly,” said Ketan Patel, Director, Personal Systems, HP Inc. India. “At HP, we are constantly pushing the envelope in design, productivity, security and entertainment to build innovative products for ‘One Life’.”

EliteBook Folio

Elitebook Folio is company’s thinnest and lightest notebook till now. It features 12.5 inch full HD ultra slim display with LED backlit and is powered by Intel Core M5-6Y54 processor. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. It weighs less than 1kg and is priced at 1,27,200 INR.

Elite x2 1012

Elite x2 1012 is a convertible tablet which features 12 inch full HD anti-glare display and is equipped with Intel Core M processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. It comes with 3G connectivity and comes with pre-installed latest Windows 10 Pro, just like Elitebook Folio. It also includes fingerprint scanner, detachable keyboard, smart card reader and a stylus.

HP took the wraps off two other notebooks- EliteBook 1040 G3 and EliteBook 840 G3 at the same event.

Pricing and Availability details

HP Elitebook Folio is available on company’s online store for the price of 1,28,000 INR. Elite x2 1012 is also available on the same website for Rs. 95,000. EliteBook 1040 G3 and EliteBook 840 G3 already went on sale and are priced at 90,000 INR and 69,000 INR respectively.
