Google Launches Nexus 6 and Chromecast in India: GOSF 2014

On the event of Google Online Sale Festival (GOSF), the search engine giant Google finally launched the much awaited Chromecast and Nexus 6 in India on Tuesday, 9 December.


Chromecast is a media streaming device which is developed by the Google itself. It is a 2.83 inch HDMI dongle which can play audio/video content on a HD display by using Wi-Fi or Internet. Currently it supports YouTube, Google Play Movies and few third party apps. Airtel and Eros are offering wide range of subscription with Chromecast.  It is compatible with Android 2.3 or above, iOS 6.0 or above and ChromeOS and MAC.
Motorola Nexus 6 will also go on sale from 10 December. It will come with the latest Android version lollipop 5.0
