Whenever you search for ‘Olympics’ or something similar, an in depth snippet that organizes all sorts of Olympic related information in tabular format, will appear on the top.
If you are using Google search on your Android or iOS smartphone, you will see an option to get automatic updates on the Olympic related sorts or athlete that you are interested in.
Live feeds and highlights for different sports will also be available on YouTube via official broadcaster channels and mobile live streaming. In fact, YouTube is sending 16 top creators to Rio to help generate better content for viewers worldwide.
Even if you can’t fly to Rio, you can always relish the street view of the Olympic city in Google Maps. Google has already captured 360-degree imagery of popular Olympic sites in Rio.
Also, Google Trends will be showing unique Olympics-based Search Trends and insights with data visualizations that you can keep checking so that you don’t miss out on the latest stuff.
This year, India is sending out its largest ever delegation of 119 athletes to the Olympics with renowned athletes and India’s medal prospects including Saina Nehwal (Badminton), Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang (Shooting), Leander Paes and Sania Mirza (Tennis), Vikas Yadav and Shiva Thapa (Boxing), Yogeshwar Dutt and Babita Kumari (Wrestling) and Deepika Kumari (Archery) to name a few.
