Fujitsu has launched a new hybrid tablet STYLISTIC Q702 in India. Q702 is a tablet cum notebook and it comes with an attachable full-size notebook keyboard. The device also has an additional battery power source in the keyboard. Weighing around 850 grams without the keyboard, the tablet is quite lightweight and easy to carry. According to the company the screen is easy to use even in the direct sunlight.
The tablet has a LED backlit IPS anti-glare 11.6-inch HD dual digitizer multi-touch display which has been optimized for both pen and touch input. Users can choose either 3rd Generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processor with optional Intel vPro Technology for their tablet. Talking about the connectivity features on the device, it have USB 2.0 and 3.0, HDMI and SD/SDHC expansion ports. You can even opt for 3G or 4G mobile broadband support which may vary according to region.
Q702 comes with a rear as well front facing camera and dual microphones for video conferencing. It supports non-FDE (Full Disk Encryption) of up to 256 GB and 128GB of full disk encryption. The device comes with intel HD graphics 4000 and 4GB DDR3 RAM.
Since mobile business users is the target audience for the device company has provided various security features in the tablet such as biometric fingerprint sensor, BIOS password protection, embedded Trusted Platform Module and Intel Anti-Theft Technology. Besides these features the tablet is protected by a light weight magnesium shell.
Fujitsu also showcased their redesigned version of the popular LIFEBOOK T902 convertible tablet PC. T902 is for the users who are looking for high performance in a tablet. The new LIFEBOOK would lighter, thinner and much more powerful than the previous models. Company did not reveal any details about the price or the availability of the device.
