Vivo has today announced world’s first ever smartphone with under display fingerprint scanner with the name of Vivo X20 Plus UD at an event in China. Apart from this the company has launched its regular version named Vivo X20 Plus in which rest of the features are same, except in-display fingerprint scanner.
Vivo X20 Plus UD is now available for pre-order and will go on sale from 1st of February.
Vivo X20 Plus UD boasts of 6.43 inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and 18:9 resolution. It comes with fingerprint sensor which is placed between the front glass and display panel. It has octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory.
This Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS based Vivo X20 Plus UD sports dual rear camera setup including 12 MP primary and 5 MP secondary shooter with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash light. For selfie lovers, it packs a 12 MP camera at front. There is 3800mAh battery while its regular version comes with slightly bigger battery of 3905 mAh capacity. These batteries come with fast charging support.
Vivo X20 Plus UD has Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android and also comes with Face Wake facial recognition feature. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
