Gionee announced two new smartphones A1 & A1 plus earlier this year at MWC 2017. The Gionee A1 was launched in India in March for 19,999 INR. Finally, the company has decided to launch A1 plus in India. It will be launched next week, and we got our hands on an exclusive image of the box showing the MRP.
As expected, the phone will be priced below 30,000 INR, and it will go on sale in the offline market. Since 29,029 INR is the MRP we expect it to be priced around 27,000 INR, but the final pricing will be revealed next week on 14 July.
Gionee A1 plus comes with a 6-inch full HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass protection. It is being powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users will be able to expand the storage by using a micro SD card of up to 256 GB.
The phone comes with a dual camera setup on the back (13mp + 5mp) and a 20 megapixels front camera for taking selfies. The back camera offers a portrait mode, and there is also a bokeh selfie mode for the front camera.
The device features a 4550 mAh battery, and it will come with an 18W ultra fast charger in the box. It will be available in two colors – Mocha Gold and Gray. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, it supports 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, dual SIM (hybrid), and GPS.
