The Asus Zenfone Max series is known for their superior battery and battery life performance in a budget segment. Asus refreshes their Zenfone Max series every time they release a new Zenfone and with the launch of the new Zenfone 3, the Zenfone 3 Max has finally arrived and this time we have two main variants of the device.
Each of these Zenfone 3 Max variants has different processors and RAM options which are something new that Asus is trying this time. This clearly means that the pricing for each of these variants is going to be different. Let us see what each of these two variants have to offer and their specs as well. We will mention the price accordingly.
Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL), price starts at 17,999 INR
The phone will come to India in multiple variants that will only differ in terms of the memory on the device. The options that the company might launch in India is the 3/4GB RAM version. Both variants will have the same onboard storage of 32GB which you can expand up to 128GB. They will be powered by the 1.4Ghz Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor.
You will get a 5.5-inch full HD screen, and a fingerprint scanner will also be present on the device, which is a welcome feature. You will get a battery of 4100mAh on this device which is pretty good. The phone also has some great imaging capabilities with its 16MP f2/.0 rear camera.
You also get a laser autofocus unit with this camera which means focusing on objects will be faster. Other features of this camera include real-time HDR; dual tone LED flash and more. The front-facing camera is an 8MP f/2.2 shooter with an 84 degrees view which means the camera can take some nice wide angle selfies. The price for this variant of the Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) will start at 17,999 INR.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL), price starts at 12,999 INR
The ZC520TL will be a lower end Max model with a MediaTek processor i.e. MT6737T. The phone will have two versions which will be 2GB RAM/16GB onboard and 3GB RAM/32GB onboard. Both of these phones will have an octa-core MT6737T processor, and they will come with a battery capacity of 4100mAh.
You will get a smaller 5.2-inch HD display on this device, and the fingerprint sensor will also be present on this version of the Zenfone 3 Max. The primary rear camera on this phone will have a 13MP sensor which will be supported by LED flash, and it will be able to capture HDR and low light shots. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, is a 5MP shooter which is good for selfie addicts.
This version of Zenfone 3 Max will start at a price tag of 12,999.
