Evernote 6 for Android Review – Best Note Taking Application

Evernote for Android is one of the fastest growing applications. It is one of the must have apps for all Android Users. Evernote 6 for Android was release last month and it comes with a new look & feel. Company has made lot of improvements in the applications like better note creation, editing, viewing and fast search.

Downloading & Installing the App

You can download the app from Google Playstore by click here and installation is just like any other Android app. Once the app is installed on your device all you need to do is login into your Evernote Account or create one.

The first thing which we noticed in the Evernote 6 is the new Floating Note Taking button. A green plus button is present on the lower right corner of the screen and if you tap on it it will give you various options like handwriting, Audio, Camera etc. You can select the type of note you want to create from the list or tap the button again to close the menu.

The new Note button is undoubtedly one of the coolest feature of the Evernote 6 and it makes the entire note taking task more enjoyable. Another interesting feature is the Web clipping, which allows the users to save an entire web page as a note in their Evernote account. You just need to visit any web page, tap share button and choose Evernote option to save it in your notebook. You can even add tag’s and select notebook in which you want to save the webpage.

A simple swipe from left edge of the screen will open the Navigation Drawer which give you quick access to your account settings, notebooks, tags etc. With Evernote 6 you can now share your NoteBooks with your friends or colleagues. You can simply go to Notebooks page, tap the settings button for any Notebook and choose share option.

Company has redesigned the search screen which makes it lot easier to find your notes. In case you are getting multiple results or too many results for your search keyword, you can refine your search by applying filters like Notebooks, Tags, Dates etc. For users who are still struggling to become an Evernote Expert, you can find an explore Evernote section in the Navigation Drawer which will teach you each and everything about Evernote.

Evernote for Android was already the best Note Taking application in the market but with Evernote 6 no other Note taking application for Android will be able to beat it at least in the near future.
