Intex has launched another affordable smartphone in its popular Aqua series- the Aqua Joy for Rs. 2,799. Before this, the company had launched entry level smartphone- Aqua Lion 3G a couple of days ago for Rs. 4,990. Aqua Joy has already been listed on company’s website and will be available soon for purchase.
Aqua Joy is equipped with 4 inch display with WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution which amounts to 233 per pixel density. It is powered by quad core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, assisted by 512 of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt memory and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB of secondary storage.
Aqua Joy packs a 0.3 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front shooter. It is backed by 1450mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 160 hours of standby time. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with dual SIM support.
Intex Aqua Joy comes with several pre-installed apps like Matrabhasha, 360 security, Newshunt, Hike, and Opera Mini, which will further tax its entry level hardware. Connectivity options include 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
