Coolpad has announced its new flagship smartphone for India, the Coolpad Max at an event in New Delhi. The company has tied with the leading e-commerce portal, Amazon.in to sell this handset exclusively from 30th of May, 2016 onwards for a price of 24,999 INR.
The unique feature of Coolpad Max is dual in one, which means the storage has been divided into two parts – Home and Private. The first part is visible to everyone and the second part goes deeper so that you can keep personal apps and data on it. Users can install same apps on both parts and sign in with different accounts. You can share file between two separations and secure each with fingerprint sensor.
Coolpad Max flaunts a 5.5 inch full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 resistance against scratches. It packs a 13 MP rear camera with dualtone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, CMOS sensor and PDAF. There is also a 5 MP frontal shooter for selfies.
Coolpad Max runs on Cool UI 8.0 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. This 4G enabled smartphone is equipped with Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor (4 x 1.2 GHz and 4 x 1.5 GHz), coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. It is powered by 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
Coolpad Max comes with hybrid dual SIM slot which means second SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot. It houses a 2800mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support which offers 3 hours of talk time in just 5 minutes of charging. Connectivity options include, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port.
