After a long time we are here with another comparison, this time not with those casual smartphones but with Touch & Type handsets having extraordinary features. There are only handful of  devices which are present in the market with physical QWERTY keyboard. HTC ChaCha is the second Facebook phone which was shown at MWC 2011 has now also available in India you can easily update your status, upload pictures, Share clips and many more.

Samsung Galaxy Pro is an entry level smartphone in the market having physical QWERTY Keyboard to type in message and send – emails easily. As there are only handful of devices available with physical QWERTY keypad so Galaxy Pro could be a good choice for those because not everyone wants only a touchscreen phone.

HTC ChaCha comes with 2.6- inches of TFT Touchscreen which has 480 x 330 pixels resolution and 256k Colors. The display have the features of Accelerometer Sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn off and HTC Sense 2.1 UI. Gorilla Glass Display with virtual QWERTY Keypad and  HTC Sense UI.

Samsung Galaxy Pro featuring 2.8- inches TFT Capacitive Touchscreen with 256K colors topped with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels as the touchscreen is capacitive so expect smoother touch. There are four common android buttons on the front that are menu, back, home & search. If we take it into consideration with ChaCha it’s having a slight of larger display.

Processor & Operating System

Inside the smartphone contains Qualcomm MSM 7227 Processor clocked at 800MHz processor which is not really eye catching but still it can give you quite good speed. Coming to the operating system of the device it runs on Android v2.3 Gingerbread which is topper among OS these days so enjoy some hands on to android device with this mid range device.

Samsung has tethered the device with 800 MHz processor which is same as the HTC ChaCha but it comes with Android 2.2(Froyo) version of OS which is the older version than those of Gingerbread.

Dimensions & Camera

HTC ChaCha is having 114.4 x 64.6 x 10.7 mm and the weight of the device is just 120 g which is not such a goofier or hafty device. Beneath the small screen is a four row physical QWERTY keypad to type in surely you will not amazed with surfing net because of its small screen sizes.

To capture and take those special moments you are having 5 MP camera with autofoucs and LED Flash facility also there is secondary VGA camera for Facetime video calls. The device is available in Black & Silver colors.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Pro is having 108.6 x 66.7 x 10.7mm weighting 103.4 g which is lighter than HTC phone available with black and white color. Galaxy Pr is equipped with 3.2Mp QVGA resolution and VGA camera video calls which is located at front side.

Connectivity & Memory

Staying connected with friends and one touch access to social medias are on the hike these days and HTC is seems to satisfy both these of connection and social media. On the board it is having Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. To store your data it is equipped with 512MB ROM and 512MB ROM that can be expended to 32GB according to your needs with one touch access to facebook it’s easy for you to update your status and share your with your friends.

Samsung Galaxy Pro is having all the basic connectivity features with v3.0 with A2DP and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi hotspot and have 512MB of RAM which is expandable to 32GB with MicroSD.

Miscellaneous features

HTC device is clumped with some amazing features of Facebook dedicated key , SNS integration , Media Players, Digital Compass etc are what all are included in the handset. The price tag for the phone is 15,990.

Galaxy Pro is supporting Media Players, SNS integration, Document editor, Picasa integration, Adobe flash 10.1 support. The price of the handset is 10,500 Rs.
