Cheers Global Pvt. Ltd. has launched its entry level smartphone C-21 in India. Cheers Global is a subsidiary of Joya Group of Companies based in China. The C-21 will be available in four color options at Rs. 1,999 at major retail outlets across India.
C-21 comes with a basic 3.5 inch HVGA display with the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a single core processor clocked at 1 GHz, backed by 256 MB RAM and its internal memory can be further expanded by up to 32 GB using Micro SD card. A
On the software front, it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, which is an outdated version, since most of the companies are launching their devices with at least Android 4.4 KitKat. This smartphone doesn’t support 3G connectivity and users will have to rely on 2G for internet browsing.

Cheers C-21 is equipped with 2.0 mega pixel camera on its back surface, with LED flash and a 1.3 mega pixel camera at front for video calling. It houses a 1400 mAh battery inside which according to company will offer 8 hours of talk-time. Connectivity options include 2G, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB port and dual SIM functionality.
