BlackBerry Passport launched in India for Rs 49,990

BlackBerry has launched their latest premium Smartphone BlackBerry Passport in India. It features a 4.5 inch square display which has a 1440×1440 resolution and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The phone runs on latest BB 10.3 OS and it is powered by a 2.2 Ghz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The device comes with 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded by using a micro SD card. It packs a 13 megapixel back camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling and capturing selfies.

Below the display you have a touch enabled BlackBerry keyboard which can be used to perform variety of functions like flick to type, scroll etc. Company has also add a Siri type Personal Assistant – BlackBerry Assistant in the device. The device is powered by a 3450 mAh battery and it supports 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth and  WiFi.

Blackberry Passport is priced at Rs 49,990 in India and it comes in White and Black Color options. The phone is now available for pre-order on and will go on Sale on 10th October 2014. Users who pre-book the phone via Amazon will get Rs 5,000 Gift card from Amazon and 5000 complimentary miles from Jet airways. The device will also be available from exclusive Blackberry stores.
