Blackberry Limited has today launched its QWERTY keypad smartphone, BlackBerry Classic in India at 31,990 INR. Blackberry Classic is an upgraded version of BlackBerry Bold 9900 and it was globally launched in mid December, last year.
BlackBerry Classic comes with 3.5 inch HD display which amounts to 294 ppi and is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor backed by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which can be further expanded by up to 128 GB using Micro SD card.
BlackBerry Classic features an 8 MP camera on its back surface alongside 2 MP front facing camera for selfie lovers and video chats. It also packs a large capacity 2515 mAh battery which can deliver up to 22 hours of battery backup on a single charge.
On the software front, BlackBerry Classic runs on latest BlackBerry 10.3.1 operating system and users can enjoy features like BlackBerry Blend, BlackBerry Assistant, Dual App storefronts like BlackBerry World and Amazon App store with this OS. Company highlights that BlackBerry Classic has three times faster browser, 60 percent more screen space and 50 percent longer battery life than BlackBerry Bold 9900.

Current users of BlackBerry Bold will get buyback offer of up to 4,500 INR and customer will also receive vouchers from Yatra.com worth 10,000 INR.
