Asus has launched a new 4G LTE-enabled tablet, the ZenPad Z10, in US with priced starting at $229.99 (Approx 15,000 INR). There is no word on global roll out but in US, you can pick it up in Slate Gray color from Verizon stores starting October 13.
The ZenPad Z10 features a sharp 9.7-inch QXGA (2048×1536 pixels) IPS LCD display, below which enthralls a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 hexa-core chipset paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. You can add up to 128GB microSD card storage as well.
Asus claims that its Asus VisualMaster technology optimizes display settings and “automatically chooses the best settings for movie, gaming, and outdoor scenarios”.
For photography, the tablet includes an 8MP rear shooter (considering the large form factor, you will rarely be using that) and a 5MP camera at the front for video calls and selfies. The ZenPad Z10 is running Android Marshmallow based Zen UI software.
Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, stereo speakers, USB Type-C port and a 7860mAh battery.
“Asus is excited to launch the ZenPad Z10, further expanding our relationship and product offerings with Verizon. The Asus ZenPad Z10 brings a premium and powerful tablet experience at a great price,” quoted Asus Corporate Vice President and General Manager for mobile communications Benson Lin, in a note by Verizon.
