ASUS has today expanded its gaming laptops portfolio with the launch of two desktops (ROG G20 and ROG GT51) and four notebooks (ROG G501VW, ROG G551VW, ROG G752VY and ROG GL552VW) under its ROG (Republic of gamers) series at an event in New Delhi, India.
ROG GT51 is backed by 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6700K processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X (2-way SLI) graphics. It has a USB 3.1 Type-C port for fast data transfer. It comes with exclusive ROG band which allows users to activate a hidden hard drive and has an internal cooling system with an air tunnel for heat management. The company claims that “it has an aggressively designed ATX chassis with an Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper finish, a transparent side window, and customizable lighting effects that showcase up to 8 million colors.”
ROG G20 is a 9.5 liter gaming desktop which comes with NVidia GTX 980 graphics. It has a 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SSD and HDD slots and also comes with GameFirst III software for network traffic management.
ROG G501VW notebook has a metal design and comes with 15.6 inch UHD IPS display with 178-degree wide viewing angles. It has ASUS Sonic master and exclusive ROG AudioWizard to improve audio experience. It is powered by 6th-generation Intel Core i7 and NVidia GTX 960M graphics, and has a 16GB DDR4 RAM and 4GB GDDR5 graphics memory.
ROG G551VW is a high end gaming notebook that runs on Windows 10. It comes with same display, processor and same audio technology as ROG G501VW. It has a 16GB of RAM and 1TB of memory paired with 128GB of expandable memory with SSD. It also has a thermal management system to facilitate marathon gaming sessions for longer time.
ROG752VY comes with a unique design with new Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color design. This Windows 10 based notebook is powered by 6th-generation Intel Skylake Core i7 processor clubbed with up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980m GPU. The main improvement over last gen device is ROG exclusive mobile 3D Vapor Chamber for increased cooling performance, and a backlit anti-ghosting gaming keyboard with 30-key rollover for precise command and control in battle.
ROG G552VW has a metal body design which is inspired by F22 Stealth fighter aircraft and is powered by Quad core 6th Gen intel core i7(Skylake) along with NVidia GTX 960M graphics. ROG G552VW also includes 16GB of RAM, 1TB of internal memory which can be extended by up to 128GB via SSD.
ASUS desktops ROG GT51 and ROG G20CB will be priced at 3,25,900 INR and 1,22,990 respectively. ASUS notebooks ROG G501VW, G551VW, G752VY and GL552VW will be available for Rs. 95,490, Rs. 1,00,490, Rs. 1,79,990 and Rs. 82,490.
