ASUS has finally introduced its first smartphone with 18:9 display in China with the name of Pegasus 4S. It will be available in Black and Gold color variants and is expected to go on sale in China by this week. However, pricing details of this handset is yet to be announced by the company.
If we talk about the specifications, Pegasus 4S is fitted with a 5.7 inch HD+ full view display with the resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio which amounts to 282.45ppi pixel density. It is equipped with 1.5 GHz Octa Core mobile platform with unspecified chipset paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt memory.
Pegasus 4S packs dual rear cameras including a 16 MP primary rear shooter with LED flash light and an 8 MP secondary rear camera. It also bears an 8 MP front facing shooter to capture selfies. This dual SIM handset is backed by 4130mAh inbuilt battery with unspecified talk time or standby time and runs on Zen UI which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
There is also presents an expansion slot for microSD card slot that takes up to another 256GB card. Other connectivity features of ASUS Pegasus 4S include 4G VoLTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
