Asus Fonepad 7 Dual Sim Hands On [Photo Gallery]

Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM has been launched in India for Rs 12,999. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2520 processor along with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The front is dominated by a 7 inch HD display which has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The display has good viewing angles and it is surrounded by thick bezels.

Above the display you have an earpiece and a 1.2 megapixel camera for video calling. You don’t have any physical touch buttons below the display as company has provided on-screen touch buttons.

Power/lock key and volume rocker is present on the right side. The device supports dual SIM and both the micro SIM card slots along with a microSD slot can be found on the left side beneath a plastic flap.

MicroUSB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack is present at the top and you will just find a lone micrphone at the bottom of the device.

The phone is available in two colors- Stylish gray and charming white. The charming white variant comes with a glossy plastic back and you have a 5 megapixel camera, Asus branding and speaker grill at the back.

fonepad 7 dual sim backOverall, just like Fonepad 7 the Fonepad 7 dual SIM has good build quality and design. The device is available in India for Rs 12,999 which makes it an entry level Tablet. At this price point it appears to be a great device but we will keep our verdict reserved for complete review.
