Apple has just introduced a new tablet, iPad Pro (9.7 inch) at an event in California. This iPad Pro is a smaller variant of last year launched iPad Pro. It also comes with cool accessories like Apple Pencil for $99 and a detachable KeyBoard for another $169.
This 9.7 inch iPad Pro comes in three storage options- the 32GB variant for the price of $599, 128GB which will be priced at $749 and the 256GB version will be available to buy at $899. It will be available in Silver, Space Grey, Gold and Rose Gold color options.
This iPad Pro comes is equipped with 9.7 inch display with the resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels which amounts to 264ppi. The company said that it comes with ‘True tone display technology’ which measures the color temperature of ambient light and adjust the display accordingly.
iPad Pro is powered by A9X chip with M9 motion co-processor and iOS 9.3 is at the software helm. It also has a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, four speakers on the top and bottom edges. The new iPad Pro houses a 27.5 watt-hour battery which offers you up to 10 hours of internet surfing over Wi-Fi.
There is a 12 mega pixel iSight rear camera with true tone flash, f/2.2 aperture, new image signal processor and 4K video recording support. It also bears a 5 MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture lens and HD video recording ability. Other connectivity options 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.
Apple has also announced that they are going to launch 9.7 inch iPad Pro in India next month in two different variants. You will have to shell out 49,900 INR for 32GB (Wi-Fi model) variant and 61,900 INR for 32GB (Wi-Fi +cellular model). Apple KeyBoard will be available for 13,900 INR in charcoal grey color and Apple Pencil will retail for Rs. 8600.
