With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, one of the biggest questions which arises is whether Note 4 is good or Apple’s iPhone 6 plus is good. Everyone has started to compare these two awesome devices. In this post, we will let you know what makes them different from each other and which device you should go for.
Apple always tries to make each iPhone thinner than the last and the result is iPhone 6 plus which is 7.1mm thick. However, the Galaxy Note 4 is much thicker at 8.5 mm. While the iPhone is made of a material which is a combination of glass and aluminum and it has rounded corners, but on the other hand, Note 4 has a metal edge with a faux leather rear cover. iPhone 6 plus is more desirable as it feels delicate while handling. However, iPhone will need a case otherwise it will lose its shiny exterior. There is no such need in Note 4 and it is much more durable.
There is no difference in the size of the screen as they both have a 5.5 inch screen. Apple has got Retina HD display which uses full HD and have a pixel density of 401ppi. Samsung has used Quad HD resolution which uses 1440 x 2650 pixels and have a pixel density of 515 ppi.
Processor and GPU
Right now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the only device which come with a 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. It is ready for Android L as it supports 64 bit-processor. The Galaxy Note 4 has a 16 MP rear camera with Smart Optical Image Stabilization. iPhone 6 plus has same 8 MP iSight camera but has made many changes which include phase detection auto focus and optical image stabilization. Galaxy Note 4 can shoot 4K quality videos but iPhone 6 plus cannot. Samsung supports a 3.7MP front camera which can record full HD videos. However, Apple iPhone 6 Plus have only 1.2 MP front camera which is limited to 720p HD video.
Apple provides a reliable and smooth experience with iOS 8 which has a lot of content available via the App Store. In Apple iPhone 6 plus a user can view the home screen in landscape and double tapping the home button pulls content to the bottom half of the screen so that a user can reach it easier with one hand.
The Galaxy Note 4 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and Samsung’s own user interface, TouchWiz UI. However, if once you know to use the S-pen, the Note 4 is much more comfortable.
Both the devices have a fingerprint scanner and NFC. The iPhone’s Apple Pay is definitely a unique feature. The S Pen Stylus is one of the key reason why people buy the Galaxy Note 4. It also supports IR blaster, heart rate monitor and UV sensor which are not supported by iPhone 6 Plus.
The iPhone 6 Plus has Bluetooth 4.0 while the Note 4 has version 4.1. iPhone 6 plus supports more 4G LTE bands making it better for roaming but the Note 4 has much faster 4G. iPhone 6 plus has 2915 mAh battery while the Note 4 has 3,220 mAh battery.
