Motorola has now launched the sports variant of Moto 360 second generation in India for 19,999 INR, which will retail exclusively on Flipkart for 19,999 INR, only in black color. This Android Wear based wearable was initially unveiled last year in international markets for fitness enthusiasts.
The Moto 360 Sports includes a 1.37 inch (360 x 325 pixels) Any Light Hybrid Display for better sunlight visibility (brightness increases outdoors). The display is also protected against scratches with Gorilla Glass 3 coating. The smartwatch also lists a waterproof body for better durability. The silicon straps in sports edition can resist dust and sweat stains.
The built in GPS is another additional feature which is used to measure speed, distance and calories burnt and, just like in original Moto 360 2nd Gen, heart rate monitor on the back tracks your heart beats.
The Moto 360 sports edition is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, barometric altimeter, accelerometer, ambient light, and gyroscope sensors and a haptic engine. Motorola claims that the 360 mAh battery inside will easily last for one day. The battery charges wirelessly via the bundled charging dock.
