Huawei has officially announced yet another premium smartphone- the P9 Lite in Russia (third P9 smartphone variant), just after the launch of P9 and P9 Plus in London. P9 Lite will be available in Silver and Gold color options, but pricing details haven’t been specified.
Huawei P9 Lite is fitted with a 5.2 inch full HD display and is powered by Octa Core Huawei Kirin 650 processor assisted by 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory which can be further expanded by up to 128GB through microSD card.
Huawei P9 Lite packs a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, but unfortunately it doesn’t come with dual rear cameras which are present in P9 and P9 Plus. It also comes with 8 MP snapper at front which should be good enough to capture detailed selfies. It also has a massive 3000mAh battery with unspecified talk time or standby time.
P9 Lite runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 skin on top. It also comes integrated with fingerprint scanner on its rear and also has a USB Type-C port. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and hybrid dual SIM slot (second slot can be used as a microSD slot).
