Samsung has today launched a new flip Smartphone – Galaxy Folder 2 SM-G1600 in China. Yes, that’s right. The new Samsung Flip Phone is made up of polycarbonate and will be available in Gold color option. Samsung, however, hasn’t revealed pricing or availability details so far.
If we talk about specification, the Galaxy Folder 2 SM-G1600 comes integrated with 3.8 inch WVGA display with the resolution of 480 X 800 pixels that amounts to 245ppi pixel density. This dual SIM handset is powered by 1.4 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM.
Optics include two cameras- one is 8 MP rear shooter with LED flash light and f/1.9 aperture and a 5 MP front facing camera onboard to capture selfies. It houses a 1950mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
Galaxy Folder 2 SM-G1600 comes with 16GB of flash storage that can be further expanded by up to another 128GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE support, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
