AMD Launches FirePro Powerful Workstation Graphics and APU Line in India

AMD has launched its new range of AMD FirePro powered workstation graphic Processing Units (GPU) in India. Company has launched AMD FirePro W9000, W8000, W7000 and W5000 workstation graphics cards in India. All these Graphic Cards are build on AMD Graphics Core Next Architecture. The company also announced about the AMD FirePro A300 Series Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). FirePro A300 Series APU is for entry level and mainstream desktop workstations.

Mr. David Cummings, Senior Director, Engineering WS Graphics, AMD said, “As professionals work with larger data sets that demand advanced visualization and complex models, they need a graphics solution that is fast, powerful, and reliable.”

According to AMD, FirePro W9000 is the most powerful workstation graphics card ever created. It  has upto 83 percent greater memory bandwidth than any of it’s competitor. All the AMD FirePro workstation Graphic cards are designed to balance computation and 3D workloads efficiently. These GPU’s are specially designed for computer aided design, engineering and media and entertainment (M&E) professionals. These graphic cards can cater to all the needs of above mentioned professionals.

AMD FirePro A300 Series APUs are designed for users looking high performance computing platform. The company provides 24 hours world class support with these APU’s. FirePro A300 Series APU come with AMD Turbo Core in which CPU and GPU performance are dynamically adjusted depending on workload demands.
