ALCATEL ONE TOUCH Idol and Hero series smartphones launched in India

ALCATEL ONE TOUCH one of the top smartphone manufacturers in the world, on August 21, 2014 launched two new smartphones in India. Named as ALCATEL Idol and Hero these two handsets are targeted for different price segments.


Observing South Indian market as the driving force for the mobile industry ALCATEL ONE TOUCH smartphones will be focused on South and West regions. The Idol series smartphones stand in the mid-range segment and comes with loads of features one of which being ‘pic to left’ allowing easy photo gallery accessibility. These smartphones come with full HD display and large viewing angle which crystal clear quality and sharp color reproduction. They vary in a range from 4.3-inch display size to 5-inch display with a tiny 2.4mm bezel making most of the front end. The smartphones comes in the range of 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB storage variants.

Hero series of smartphones on the other hand comprises of the high end segment. they come in 6-inch HD display model with 440 pixel per inch density. It come with a 13MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera. It also features 2B RAM and 32GB internal memory, obviously supporting WiFi, 3G, GPS etc. as connectivity options.


The smartphones will be available at 4 premium colors. The smartphones shall remain in the price range of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000. ALCATEL ONE TOUCH mobile phones plans to launch in top ten cities like Bangalore, Mysore, Hugli, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Vizag, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin etc. Apart from retail advertising, effort would be to have extensive retail programs.
