IFA 2016: HTC One A9s With 5 Inch HD Display and Helio P10 Announced

HTC has unveiled its latest mid-segment smartphone One A9s in its new “One” series at IFA, 2016. This handset will be available in Black, Gold and Silver color options. However, the company hasn’t revealed pricing and availability details yet.


This 5-inch display handset comes with HD Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass resistance against scratches. It is powered by an octa core MediaTek Helio P10 processor that has four performance cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and another four power cores clocked at 1.0 GHz.

HTC One A9s comes in two variants – 2GB of RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM with 32GB of flash memory. It also offers option for expandable memory up to 2TB using microSD card slot. There is also a fingerprint scanner which is integrated in its home button. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top.

HTC One A9s has a primary 13 MP resolution camera which is placed on the top of its rear with LED Flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and full HD video recording. It also employs a 5 MP front facing camera with f/2.8 aperture. This metal unibody handset is backed by 2300mAh battery and also features HTC BoomSound like all HTC handsets.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
